UARR Racial Justice Summit: Addressing Racism In and Through The Education System

From September 28th to October 2nd 2020, UARR hosted its inaugural Racial Justice Summit. Session 5 of the week, "Addressing Racism In and Through The Education System", brought together educators and advocates from the GTA to discuss seeking racial justice through primary and secondary education. 

 

Over the course of the summit, ten online sessions brought racial justice advocates from various backgrounds together to engage in dialogue and learn from one another. Each session focused on a seeking racial justice in and through a specific industry or field, including healthcare, the justice system, academia, organized labour, and more.
